Katelyn had her first ice skating lesson today. She did such a great job. It was interesting to watch the class. It's a revolving class so students can start at any time. The instructors help the students get to the right part of the ice and then one of the first things they teach the students is how to get up once they fall down. I thought that was so smart. So then when the kids fall, they can practice how to get up. The instructors will of course help those who are struggling. Katelyn struggled for the first part of the class, but by the end, she could get herself up. They also have the students walk a lot on the ice. And at the end, they played ring around the rosie. She loved it and will have 7 more classes and then we'll decide whether to have her continue or not.
