Pumpkin Patch

We took the kids to the pumpkin patch. It was fun. Evan loved the slide!

Katelyn at 5 weeks

Here's a video of Katelyn last week. She was so adorable under the mobile, but was starting to get tired by the time I got the video camera. The video still turned out cute. Ken and I were also just talking about how much Katelyn looks like Evan when he was about the same age. They have such similar faces.

Ken is home with Evan and Katelyn 3 days during the week while I'm at work (for the next 3 weeks). Today was their first day together and here's a video of how they spent their time. It's so cute!

Today was Katelyn's 5th day. Evan is absolutely enamored with her. He loves being able to hold, touch, and kiss her. So far he's adjusted well to her as she joins our family. He's had a lot of attention from the grandparents this week so hopefully he'll still do well next week as life settles down a bit.

Katelyn was born on Saturday morning, July 17th. Evan came to the hospital later to meet her. Here is a video of him meeting her. I'll upload some pictures of them later.

Swim Lessons

This is Evan's second year of swim lessons. He's done much better this year. He loves to jump in the water. His tummy float is much improved. He will sometimes let go of us to paddle with his arms (we of course are still holding him). He is getting better at going underwater. He still hates to blow bubbles and do the back float. Today was picture day so here are a few pictures and videos.
