Coalinga con los abuelos

Evan and I spent a week and a half in Coalinga with my parents. It was nice to be in a small town where you can walk everywhere. I helped take care of my niece, Ella, while Molly and Damon were in Hawaii. It's amazing how quickly you forget how much work taking care of a newborn is! It's been so nice to have 4 weeks of vacation! I can't believe work begins again on Friday. It'll be hard to leave Evan in the mornings and I think he'll have a tough time with it too!

Evan y su tigre

Today I had to take the day off to stay home with Evan. Monday begins 4 weeks that I'll be home to take care of him. Halfway through today I was wondering how I am going to survive 4 weeks. What do you do with a 14 month old??? I'm sure we'll figure out some fun things to do and places to go, but seeing his joyfilled face on this tiger makes me glad for the upcoming vacation.

Playing in the Snow

Ken spoke at the Flipside Epidemic (Youth) winter retreat over the weekend. Evan got to play in the snow for the first time. He really didn't like it, but we were able to get a few cute videos of him to share. He also fell the first time we let him walk around outside - a complete faceplant!
