Jesus and His Disciples

Evan got to go to the Christian Bookstore today to pick out any toy that he wanted because he stayed dry during the night 10 nights. We thought he'd pick a Veggietales toy, but it was taking him forever to find just the right toy. Then I found this one toy and showed it to him and he immediately wanted to take it home to play with. It's a Jesus figurine, 13 small figurines of his disciples (the 13th disciple being the one who replaced Judas), and a boat. He LOVES it. It is so cute listening to his dialogue for the characters. He's at such a fun age where his imagination runs wild. He was talking about their beards, which ones have kids, and just other fun topics - not Bible related - but fun topics.

So Much Fun Together!

Evan and Katelyn love to play together. This was a cute moment yesterday with them playing in the laundry basket while Ken pushed them around the house. Today Evan would hide (in the same place over and over) and Katelyn would come and find him. They both loved it!

Who says my daughter doesn't have hair?

Katelyn has taken a longer route to grow hair because she's been focusing on her athletic skills like walking and throwing (she has quite a throw)! But just look, you'll see how stylish her hair is now!

Our Little Walker

We were finally able to get a video of Katelyn walking. She's definitely starting to get more comfortable with standing and also with walking. The video has two short walks in it. She also had her longest walk before that, but we didn't get that one on video. By the way, our little girl is quite the ham. She's going to be one funny kid. Evan's a hoot too, but he's beginning to turn shy.

Fierce Bad Rabbit

As a baby shower gift for Evan, we were given the Complete Peter Rabbit Library. One of the books in that set is called The Story of a Fierce Bad Rabbit. Ken and Evan read that book a few weeks ago and Ken loved it because the story is all about these two rabbits and then a man with a gun enters the scene and shoots at the mean rabbit. Ken would just crack up at the story and so Evan began to love the book also. Soon enough Evan had the words memorized. It's amazing how close he can recite the story to the actual words. I hope you can hear him okay. He's quite animated telling the story.
